Just finished making these for "Perceval" on this site. He built my website in 2013 and after me asking him many times what he wanted making we came up with these. He shortened his mufflers by cutting the ends off, these should pretty up the end of the muffler. Now how do i post pictures? for some reason UBB is enabled and html isn't. i had trouble a while back and things got changed around, bear with me i'll get photo's posted.

I save my pics to Photobucket and then I ...

Open the pic
Right click on the pic
Select 'properties' from the bottom of the pop up menu
A new window opens, copy the 'URL' address (about half way down)

Then, when typing a post ...
Select 'Image' from the 'Instant UBB Code' list and paste that URL address when the window opens
Bingo. Pics appear in the post

Sounds long winded but it takes seconds and works fine for me.

No CNC i did them on my lathe at home. It's a Clausing 12x 36 made in 1954. I'm not a cnc machinist, just a regular old manual one with 46 yrs. experience. Glad you like them. I have more things i've done on my website aacycleproducts.com Des.

Just got them through the mail.

They are gorgeous, and the attention to detail is remarkable, all the way to screw holes bored so the screws come exactly flush.

Great work Des.
Thank you!!!!!

Thanks Jeff, all in a days work and just the normal type of work for me. I guess us machinists are a picky kind of buggers! To each his own, you built my website which i never could have done and it's my pleasure to have made these for you. Just waiting to hear them on youtube. Des.

Well, thank you for these, Des. I'm smiling too!

Yes, the world is a lot smaller than when I was growing up. So easy to connect over distances that were previously considered so far away. like half a world away!

Take care out there.

They look really nice and I wouldn´t mind having them on my Rocket 3 Touring. Different diameter on the pipes I think, but still...

Perfect job!!!!

Harald73, what's the diameter of your pipes? It's better if i also have the circumference measurement too. If you want a set made let me know Des.

Sorry Des, I just saw your message...

I had to go out today, so I grabbed the camera and made a short clip.

Youtube downgraded the sound a bit, but it gives an idea.

They are the factory pipes, with the tapered ends cut off to easily gut out the smaller pipes inside. The catalyser is still in place.

Sounds good Jeff, the aluminum seems to mellow it out and take the harsh sound of being all steel away. Do you want me to make a different set of endplates? Originally i was going to make a the "T" with a load of 5/32" drilled holes but the center holes were slightly offset from the center line and thats when i opened the plate to a full "open" T. Des.
