Dang dude sorry about the loss.
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Sorry for your loss, but I don't see any diagonal cross bracing on those walls. Hope the damage to your toys is minor.

Wow Damien! That sucks alright! And yep, I'm sorry for your loss there, too. Hopefully you won't have much trouble with your insurance company, and they'll come through for ya in a hurry. But hey, look on the bright side here...Even your boat doesn't look all THAT worse-for-the-wear there. (...and you've STILL got THAT for when the floods come, ol' buddy!!!....sorry, couldn't resist that one)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Sorry to hear that, hope the boat isn't too bad since it was left in your care. Is the guy who owns it expecting you to pay if the ins. doesn't?

If/when you rebuild, use REAL plywood and not SOB, I mean OSB. Also, use some hurricane ties on those truss' and a few more anchor bolts. I know "should of, would of, could of". Glad things wasn't to to bad for you, Yea, now you need to fit rebuilding your shop into your schedule, tell me about it, if it's not one thing,it's another. Again glad you and your family wasn't injured in the mayhem.
