I was just looking at the weather map of the US and it does not look good. I hope you all come through this relatively unscathed. Up here in Canada we are prepared for low temperatures and lots of snow for the most part which we are also getting albeit colder then average.

we were getting spoiled from the last few years here in New England, but this weather was typical about 20 years or so ago. Just have food and drink and good company for the next few days and everything will be all right

I agree, they way they are talking right now wouldn't have happened unless we were getting 3 feet or more and it's only 10 to 15" here. That used to be a normal snow fall.

20 degrees in San Antonio right now. S. Texas gets unhappy when this happens.
I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.

Did the canals freeze in San Antonio, that must be cold for there? Enough to freeze the brass balls off the monkey at the fort. Send some of that snow a little further north I am in ski country and we were on the upper edge of the front only 5 inches but we did get the cold -28 one day (-18.4 F) DID NOT SKI !

They made a big deal out of this last snow. It was only 10 - 15" and we got 20"+-, that used to be a normal snow storm. The temps are colder than normal because of the extended period of time, where's that global warming now!? LOL We need more greenhouse gasses!

Pucked up Phil says spring will come at its normal time 6 weeks from now.
This is the best winter we've had in central New York in a while. If it's gonna be cold, I want it white. Brown winters are the worst.
I'll be cross country skiing this afternoon.
Embrace it! It will melt soon.
