This evening my oldest granddaughter made me a great grandpa by bringing into this world a healthy 7 # baby boy . I shall call him peanut . That makes 5 generations alive on my wife's side . It seems it was just a few yrs ago my granddaughter was born and now 22 yrs have passed and she made me great !!! Love that kid  can't wait to get him on the bike !!!

Congrats. just rolled out of bed and wished my wife happy 30th Anniversary. No grand kids yet. son 22 and daughter is 16. That is really cool there should be a GGP patch.

My eldest son & his wife made me a Grandad first time around last week with the birth of their baby daughter.
It's going to be an awesome Christmas.

Was up to the hospital tonight to finally see the little guy . Soooo so precious . Handsome little guy with his moms full head of hair and his dad's cheeks . Granddaughter doing great. You guys just getting started in the grand parent game , your gonna love it , they are the best . All my children and all my grandchildren were on a bike with me when they were still in diapers , I can't wait to get this little guy on board . Never have I believed I would live long enough to have grandchildren let alone a great grandchild . But here I am still opening my eyes every morning and I am graeatful that I am still here to see this . My granddaughter is so happy and that just warms my heart to see her glow line this . She is married to a fine down to earth cracker and I do believe this little guy has a fair shot at.a good life . Aaaahhhhhh life is good .

Myke, Congrats man. Aren't grandkids great!!!!! I know exactly how you feel because my son and daughter in law gave us another grandson also on the same day, Dec 17, 2017. My son was pumped....first child. The little guy was 5 weeks early and had some complications. He and his mom were flow medivac to the Children's Hospital in Ottawa. My son drove down and they spent the last 2 weeks there. Lucky I already have a son living in the city to help them out. Things are looking up and expect to have him back later this week. Can hardly wait to hold the little guy again.

My wife and i do. While waiting for our granddaughter to be born my wife said “if it’s a girl i’m Not going to treat her like a princess”. YEAH RIGHT!!! She’s the first girl born on her fathers side in 72yrs. And she’s precious, just as they all are.
