Evening Ladies and Gents,
I am in need of some information on the dimensions for the rear brakelight switch on my 08 Speedmaster EFI. The prices for these switches to me seem very high. @ £22.
I am looking to purchase a pattern part but in order to do so i need the following info, Thread size and pitch, also the length of the thread from tip to the base of the switch housing or simply the overall length of thread and banjo union.
I know I could simply remove the switch myself and measure it, But that would mean the bike will be off the road until a replacement arrives. As the bike is my daily transport this is sadly not an option for me.

I would think you could buy one off the shelf at a parts store at a reasonable price that would work. It's just a pressure switch.

Thanks The_Dog33, Thats my intention, but i want to ensure the dimensions are simlar before I waste my time and money, only to find they are different sizes or dimensions.

For $16 used, better off buying new, as for thread size, sorry.

Thats indeed what it looks like. The size is really what Im after though.
