But I had an old cb500 Honda that I zipped to work and home on. The truth is I day dreamed of clipping down the road on a triumph motorcycle when I was in the field on a tractor or in a fancy car hung up in traffic.
Come to think of it I had a similar dream. My first vehicle was bike also. A Yamaha 350RD. Me and my Buddy on a Honda scrambler 305 were sitting at an intersection in rural NW Pa. and a guy came along on a Triumph 500 Trophy. He popped a wheelie and took off with me an my buddy sitting there with our mouths open. At that point I knew I would someday own a Triumph.

All corvettes are ugly. But I am no one to bother on this matter , I hate all cars, and only like trucks for the work they can do. And to see a truck that has never been worked is sad and ridiculous. Automobiles are a means of transportation that is often find necessary.
I agree with you.Cars are a means of transport to get from A to B.That's why I drive a 1993 Mitsubishi.I do think certain cars look nice, Corvettes,Mustangs E-type jags and especially the old Mk2 Jaguar [to name a few of many] are nice looking. Now Bikes! That's where it's always been for me.My friend has an Audi sports car and doesn't believe me when I don't drool over it and I tell him I wouldn't own one,but the truth is it doesn't do anything for me. Guess I'm weird too!

Yep ......too ugly to live ......too strange to die. That's my motto.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.
