I now find myself feeling quite concerned about our good friend Robert. I sent a message to his ebay account and still no reply. Once again I ask, does anyone here know how to get a hold of him? He's attended a few rallies making it feasible that someone might have an email address, phone or text number. I consider Robert a good friend and would very much like to hear from him.

Erle/Robert posted he was distraught about his son being ill, IIRC, just before he went AWOL. Let's hope his personal situation has improved, whether we hear from him again or not.

Robert doesn't say where he's from in his profile but has "25-22-28-0***-****0" as his location. I always thought the first part of that was the latitude of where he lives (not sure about the last part of "0***-****0"). Anyway this would put him somewhere near Miami which is 25-46-16 N.
It just seems odd he would not respond in ebay as his presence there implies he's actively selling and taking care of customers (the man's got a lot of integrity). As Ian says, hopefully his son is not too bad and good ol' Erle will just show up here again someday.

Hey guys, Things are normal here. Just got so involved in our club (cafemotoclub.com) activities that time has just disappeared from my life. My whole family is involved with the group. Donna, John, Steven, and I. Oh, and Donna and I just celebrated our thirtieth year anniversary this summer! Think I'll update my info. on this site bio. I did something I swore I'd never do. I joined fb. (Bwaaaaa!) I kinda HAD to. Our group are mostly 30 something's, and apparently they don't know how to communicate on our site page. So I had to get on to stay current with the group. Now that I'm there, I've reconnected with ****** (oops, I mean friends) I haven't heard from since I lived in Detroit and Los Angeles. Not to mention family, local friends, others friends, etc, etc, etc. Now, between running through ebay, fb, and shared sites, I find myself spending HOURS a day online. JUST what I would ****** at the kids for doing all through high school. REALLY SUCKS! But like other vises that become addicting, this is bad. The America has run flawlessly for longer than I can remember, so I've had no need for the advice forums, and I've never been interested in politics, so the "Cone" doesn't hold my interest. Our country has been through an equal amount of Dem's & Rep's since the beginning of it's exsistance, and life just seems to go on, never really for better OR worse, so, WTF!?? THANK YOU SO MUCH for the pm's regarding my sons health. It's been a decade, with more specialists than I can count, two week long stays @ Mayo, a couple of years apart, and never found the causes for his digestive/bowel issues. But life goes on. Here's an interesting note; One of our biggest concerns was that Steven was on 8-10 hard core pharmaceutical drugs to cope with the pain, discomfort, and causes for his problems. We feared that the "cocktail" of drugs everyday, FOR LIFE (possibly), could cause an early death from side effects. Ten G.D. drugs at one time every day!, Christ!!! But every time we took a bag filled with his prescriptions to the "specialists", they seemed to think it would be/should be ok. "SHOULD BE"!??? F that! Long story short, one day when he was doubled up on the bathroom floor, his brother told him to "try some of this". You guessed it. Pot. I am SOOO... HAPPY to say that, with God as my witness, Today he takes NO pharmaceutical drugs at all! No, it did not cure his symptoms, but neither did the cocktail of pills! The pills only helped with the pain/nausea, and so does the pot. All of his doctors know, and most have said "If it works....". Of course, they can't condone it, but... Thinking of the long run, I'm SO HAPPY with our choice! The only bad thing is, HE'S BREAKING THE F'N' LAW!, and could get thrown in jail if caught, lose his disability benefits (yeah, I'm sure some jack-ass will comment "good"), and have a record. Now REALLY, don't ya think that kinda sucks? Anyway, I digress. Anyone (Keith, Dave, Ian, etc.) who may be interested can find me on fb. Robert Erle in Orlando. You'll probably recognize the America on my profile page. Send me a friends request. I do miss the content of this site, the people on here, and believe I'll be checkin' in daily again, but if I wander, you have my fb. Peace.

Well, ya know erle, IF that blood o' yours wasn't so darn thin from livin' all these years in Florida, you COULD maybe consider packin' up and movin' the family to either Colorado OR Washington state and where it's now completely legal to smoke the mary-ja-wana!!! (...good to hear from ya, ol' buddy!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Yea Erle !! We who live fl. We need to vote come November to help people like your son. I have an uncle here in fl that his Lucemia has been held in ck for a few yrs now because of " holistic med if you know what I mean lol" and he's in his late 70s because he spends part time in mi ( yep snowbird) he started it there. I also know a child who's mom has been feeding cookies and has beat the cancer he had . Far to many proven cases to support this and if it remotely helps your child than it is far and away better then big pharma giving him 40 pills a day that do nothing more then eat holes in your stomach !! Glad to know ur ok we were getting a little concerned !! But if you have never voted or never vote again , let's get this done in nov if for no other reason than your son to be legal and not have to worry !!
ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

Well now that we know you're okay Robert, I don't mind switching the topic to the wonders of medicinal maryhootch. I read testimonials everyday about how cannabinoids feed a system our bodies already have to help with or even cure a host of ailments. Someday in my lifetime, I hope to see this plant become available without any legal or moral consequence. I hope Florida makes this important change.

That vote is sure to be another clusterf*ck here in Florida. There's BIG money at play and it's being used more as a voter turnout tool than an actual debate about the facts. But, that's another discussion for another time.

Agreed. I also vote. It has opened a few discussions about Cannabis for meds (or personal use) and Hemp for textiles and more, like farmers having something to grow that can be used for many things and likely has a lower environmental impact. Like you said, discussion for another time,, and forum.

Again, thanks for the concerns. I never even registered to vote until about five years ago. (in my mid fifties) Yes, I will make sure my family of four get out to vote yes on amendment 2 this Nov. There IS overwhelming support, but I'm afraid it could just add another verse to a popular song; "I was going to the polls today To make my vote known I was gonna vote yes on two Cuz I support it all of the way I realize it was the chance I've waited for all of my days BUT THEN I GOT HIGH BUT THEN I GOT HIGH BUT THEN I GOT HIIIIIIIGH!" -Afroman-
