Steve, not wanting to sound like a smarta** but if you are going to work on your motorcycle you might as well have a set of both. I may only use 3 or 4 sizes of each for most projects. My 5mm allen wrench & bit are used a lot.

edit: I like the signals being lower off the forks. When I do need to replace my signals the will come down off the bars.

I know when I read your question I had no idea what bar you meant, a pic would help clarify. This forum has helped countless people with countless problems and projects on a multitude of subjects. Usually quickly too but you have to remember you asked this on a holiday weekend. We offer our help to help, no one here gets paid to help anyone and we don't wait for a question to answer but when one of us sees one we know the answer to that has not already been answered we answer.

One of the problems is most of us that are on here most every day don't have that configuration. You will get an answer.

Sorry Steve. Was not trying to poke a stick at you but you didn't indicate that you had tried and ruled out any common sizes. I've found a mix of metric & standard allen's as well as torx bolt heads on my motorcycle parts. Sounds like you have a reasonably deep tool box to pull from. As noted above and from a recent survey, most members here have earlier models (& carburetors!). As I indicated before, I do like the new turn signal location. Good luck with it.

Your kind of a douche right now! You ask a question on a holiday where people are with family and when you don't get a reply you get bent.
You say theres no knowledge here and people aren't helpful...
I looked back at your older posts and seems like you got a lot of replies but you just didn't like them.
Take yourself and your questions to your dealer and pay for the answers then.

I would not have been so kind, and would have suggested a bit of gouda with that wine.

However, learn something new I did. Like that light bar. On first look at Steve's fleabay photo of it my first thoughts were, sheet, it isn't even an oem bar...Then after clicking on Ron's link...Oh yes it is! mymymy

Z, you forgot to tell him that if he didn't want bent turn signals, he shouldn't have dropped his bike at a gas station in the first place!

Even if you have cancer it doesn't excuse acting like an ass. Most here are friendly and as helpful as they can be.

Soooooo. With this cancer induced death sentence you have, why are you so concerned about fixing your turn signals? Im sure whoever has to sell your bike when your a worm farm will appreciate the time you put in it.

not really so cold hearted. I see this forum as a place of information and entertainment. It is a mistake to put such personal info out there such as you did. No one knows you from Adam, you set the stage for posts like mine when you got so asenine early on before anyone ever even tried to help you. Your medical condition isn't relevant but you decided to throw it out there for the shock factor. Don't be so shocked when someone states a fact that IS pertinent to the bait you set. You trolled and you got results. Hey,its xmas! Next year might be better.
