Well... still waiting on my gearchange shaft assembly. Triumph forgot to send it to the dealer I ordered it from. I should have it on Tuesday.

In the meantime, I did get an A.I removal kit installed.

Well, at least THAT'S a step in the right direction. Hope it doesn't take TOO long to sort out the gearchange shaft assembly!

FINALLY! Three weeks after ordering it, the part showed up today. Starting to put it back together now... then hopefully leaving for California tomorrow morning.

It's up and running! Had a brief scare with no pressure to the back brakes, but that is resolved. I'm back on the road with my TBA!!

Thanks, all, for your advice, experience, well wishes, and positive energy!

The trip was fantastic, even though it was quite wet. Almost 1500 miles of great scenery and even better camaraderie.

I'll be posting some pics and info about the ride in my Member's Rides thread.

1/4" air die grinder w/ a cutoff wheel ..and mask the chrome before you go..no problem
