Neander: the world's first turbo-diesel motorcycle
www.wheels24.co.za/BikesQuads/Its-a-Neander-Hal-Its-diesel-20110617

The bikes are faster than any equivalent petrol-powered bike, accelerates quicker than a Porsche or Ferrari (0-100km/h in 2.7sec, will cruise at 160km/h (and a fair bit quicker if you dare) and will return five litres/100 km!

The engine is a masterpiece incorporating the latest common-rail fuel-injection and an intercooler. Maximum power from the 1400cc unit is 76kW but get on to torque and you’re talking 200Nm – the same as Triumph’s celebrated 2300cc Rocket III!.

Geeze that's tough looking, ain't it? Look at the front end on that thing... and that swingarm!! For the power and looks, I really like it!

If it really needs 4 fork legs and a full hand-width of swingarm, that beast just has to be heavy. 5 qts of fuel in 60 miles comes out to 40 some mpg, a diesel should do better.

1.188 gallons in 62.14 miles is closer to 53mpg. Not too shabby, but should be better I think.
I noticed they don't show the weight anywhere.....

Looks like a hydraulic center stand should be standard equipment. And if it ever got beyond its center of gravity at a standstill? Incorporated in lifting eyes (chrome of course) comes to mind. Beyond all that, 'sucker oozes testosterone
