Cool idea. I'd liked to have seen a bit more of the lower edge to balance the top but it's a very cool idea that looks great.

I want to do something similar... but cut the trailing edge in a flame pattern/design, got to grab one from Pinwall one of these days...

Not enough "wood".
I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I was going.

A nice naked look but probably wouldn't sneak past a competant vehicle inspectors eyes here in the Land Of Oz if we wanted to re-register that bike. Un-protected chains seemed to be frowned on here by vehicle inspectors.

Ah HA! BUT, the irony here is that I replaced MY GFG sprocket cover with one of the newer ones YEARS ago!!!
(...ya see, there ARE certain things in the world which SHOULD HAVE and SHOULDN'T HAVE fins on 'em...and a sprocket cover is definitely NOT in the same category as cylinder barrels!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Not if the bike is sittin' on its side stand, John.
(...you DO know you're only supposed to fill these babies with oil until you see the oil level right in the middle of the sight glass and while the bike is completely vertical, don't ya John?!)

yeah i wish they compensated for the sidestand lean. I get nervous standing it up that straight without being on it, and how straight is too straight before you lean the other way?...dont get me started.
Great chop there deuk, I went for the t-100 because I hated looking at that nut from the swingarm

Looking at the picture, I'd say the bike is vertical, but the level gauge isn't clear enough in the picture to comment on oil level
