I have long contended that a person who cannot see a motorcycle cannot see well enough to be allowed to drive.

Personally I think anyone hasn't held a full bike licence shouldn't be allowed to drive anything else!

Sometimes it's the vehicle's blind spots but it's up to the cager to know where they are. A whole car can hide behind my west coast mirrors... check twice or three times and save a life... people are in too much of a rush to do nothing or go somewhere.

I'll support that!
I've always held that motorcycle riders make better car/truck drivers!

I'll take that one step farther, before they get a street license they should learn and be experienced in the dirt. My dirt bike experience has saved my butt a few times.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!

In critical situations the motorcycle increases its conspicuity to warn the car driver. The level of collision risk is assessed and various measures taken accordingly; the motorcycle’s headlight is adjusted gradually, its strength increased and the flashlights and LEDs positioned on the sides of the bike and on its mirrors are activated to create a broader silhouette. If there is an acute risk of collision, the motorcycle’s horn also sounds. If the car continues into the intersection regardless, the left turn assistant brakes the car automatically to a standstill.
