He's cute, hopefully they left him in with the general population for a few days.

...and secondly, five'll get ya ten that the 56 y/o James Winans Clarkson Jr. of Beaumont CA(FIFTY-SIX friggin' years old, and the moron STILL acts like a friggin' teenager???!!!), ISN'T a NATIVE Californian who would and should know that lane-splitting in that state is NOT ILLEGAL, "Mister" Clarkson....you friggin' gun-tottin' MORON you!!!!

Sorry folks, but this kinda stuff REALLY p*sses me off, and when I get like this, I sometimes get, well, lets say, involved in thoughts about why stuff like this happens. And soooooooo, here's somethin' I just can't seem to figure out.....

Okay, I can maybe kinda see why the "parents" of 56 y/o James Winans Clarkson Jr. of Beaumont CA brought that moron into the world, because at 56 years of age, that would mean he was born in 1955, some 6 years BEFORE the advent of BIRTH CONTROL PILLS hitting the Pharmaceutical counters of America in 1961.

BUT, then WHAT explains the reason for the elder Mr. and Mrs. Ellers to spring little Cody on this poor world just EIGHTEEN friggin' years ago...HUH???!!!

Well, I suppose that might be one reason for it, moe.

But, somethin's tellin' me here that Mr.& Mrs. Ellers(who, I'll ALSO lay ya those SAME five'll get ya ten odds, were probably divorced by the time little Cody was 7) may not have ever applied for that particular governmental program.

And so, ya got any other idea here?

Ya see, my "theory" about this whole societal phenomenon is STILL that there are WAY too many people on this planet(and not just in the good ol' U.S. of A) who for whatever reason fail to realize that they "may not" have what it takes to be responsible parental units.

(...but yeah, I know I'm definitely NOT the first person to ever come up with THAT "theory", huh?!)

how did the 18 year old not get charged with attempted murder. he ran over the bike after he made him crash.

my mistake....it was not after...it was the cause of the crash.
still it's attempted murder

We call those people oxygen thieves.

The real sad part is the guy's in for some years of healing, surgery, PT etc. $5,000 cash bail??? What a joke. I'm thinking attempted murder. Seems intentional, at least that's how the news article portrays it.

People surround themselves with 2 tons of steel and think they own the road. Last summer I went to pass someone who I had been behind for 2-3 miles, going 45-50. I finally come to a passing zone, pull out to pass and he speeds up, I speed up more, he speeds up more and I drop to 4th and hammer it. I finally wound up passing him at @ 95. At least he didn't swerve towards me. Later that night, I talked to a buddy who is a former nys trooper. He said he had heard of other bikers going through the same experiance. His advice for that situation was to swallow my pride and back off because a pissed off car driver allways has the edge on the biker. Tough to do at the time, though.

Yep Kathy, I suppose "oxygen thieves" is as appropriate a definition as anything else for morons like these people.

However, I have to ask why there appears no concern here for our friend...the poor ol' under-appreciated Nitrogen atom???

(...I mean, considerin' that air has approximately four times the Nitrogen content than it does Oxygen, I'd say these kinds of morons out there are ESPECIALLY stealin' THOSE poor little suckers with every breath and more than they would seem to have a right to, too...RIGHT???!!!)

Excerpt from the above news story ...

"When the 32-year-old motorcycle struck the car, it ejected the officer and he vaulted over the vehicle," explains Officer Coon.

I knew things were getting tight financially in the USA but expecting law enforcement to do their job on vintage motorcycles is going a bit far.

Cody is a spoiled little brat bastard child that should also be charged with attempted murder, and put away for the rest of his useless life.
MR. William Hawksley should sue Mr., and Mrs. Eller for everything they have. Maybe they should do a stint behind bars for letting their little animal out to menace society.

Too bad California will not just put mr. Clarkson to sleep, effectively removing him from our misery permanently. How a moron of this calibre managed to punish us with his presence on this earth as long as he did, is a mystery.

Speaking as a chemists, we don't inhale nitrogen atoms we inhale N2. Additionally, our bodies do not need, and therefore do not absorb, N2 so we simply exhale.

I was reading the story about the LV cops. It said they had no protective gear but their helmets. When I'm in that kind of environment I always wear a mesh jacket. It's much, much cooler than having my skin baked in the Nevada sun plus I can put some armor in if I want to. These guys need to wise up. Maybe it's about looking cool instead of being cool.

I'm serial posting, it seems. I believe we actually do absorb the nitrogen. Decompression sickness, or the "bends", is the result of expansion of nitrogen bubbles in the blood stream as a diver decompresses on their return to the surface.

It was actually NLV, different city (although part of the metropolitan area), different police.
But it's true all the same. The NLV, Henderson, and LV Metro police, as well as the highway patrol all wear a half helmet, and in mild and hot weather no protective gear otherwise except boots and gloves. I'll have to ask one of them about it sometime, I always talk to them when I get a chance.

Can't hurt

And I agree completely about the mesh jacket being cooler than sun on skin . I live it.

Here's a bit more info on the Cody Eller case... for anyone that's interested.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-E3Imhe2o1c

There's a continuance until June 14th and the guy that posted the video is trying to get the charge changed to First Degree Assault. Apparently the state of NH doesn't recognize "Attempted" anything, so it's not possible to charge an individual with Attempted Murder.

Here's a link to the brief filed with the court to have the charge changed... http://www.wepapers.com/Papers/145127/St...Degree_Assault.

I didn't see the truck driver "try to kill" any biker, both were driving/riding too fast. Something must of happened before the video started!!

I didn't see the incident either until i re-watched the video. For some reason the link doesn't show the beginning of the video. I'm glad it wasn't me the idiot tried to hit. I might be in jail for manslaughter now!!! Friggin redneck!!!

The truck driver is an ass and should be removed from our collective misery.

Passing on a double yellow is a bad idea anytime. I know we all do it but its still not smart. He is lucky to have made it.

I have been cut over on like that when lane filtering. Redneck in a truck like this intensionally blocked my way. Good thing I had my "A" game on or I would have eaten a bumper sandwich.

I wonder if they have any motorcyclists in prison that would like to get a hold of these two?...can't imagine they wouldn't!

We, bikes and cars share the roads equally. It's sad that people can't just be nice and share. If the bikes want to pass, let them. If the truck wants to pass, let them. It takes so much energy to get angry at others. We all pay the taxes and fees associated with using the roads. Besides the alternative isn't good in any way shape or form.

One other thing, grow the **** up!!

I agree with ya. Some people should have grown up along time ago.
