centre stand

Yep. It bugged me that I had to buy a centre stand. (Rivco) And I was a little dissapointed the first time I took the console off. Plastic?!!! Still, all and all, the only bike I ever had that I haven't done much cutomizing on. It was very nearly just right when I bought it.

It's only a matter of time before the Speedmaster Hurricane has dual headlights.

I like most of the suggestions. How about putting the front turn signals on the leading edge of the mirrors with yellow (or red) LEDs facing aft. That would increase visibilty and make self cancelling signals unnecesary as the flashing rearward lights would be at eye level.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

6th gear, self cancelling turn signals, better charging system for heated gear and options, move the forward controls back a bit...

Wiseco has a 1200cc big bore kit for these twins but you lose the counter balance shaft.

the only thing that bugs me is the short wheel base, not easy to change i think, lights, and bars & risers and exshaust have been changed on mine, and i am going to change the bars & risers againg going to fit 24" apes on 2" risers, but back to that wheel base i am thinkin of extending the rear swing arm by 4" to 6" or i might hard tail it not sure yet, but with me it seems a short wheel base..

What?! WHAT???!!! What chu talkin' 'bout, Willis...err...lewie???????

Dude! The stock wheelbase of these Triumph cruisers of ours are already 65 inches axle-to-axle, and maybe you don't know this, but even a Harley-Davidson FATBOY is "only" 64 inches!!!

(...hmmmm...I take it you don't much care for throwin' your baby into turns, eh?!...well, that's always been one of my favorite things about my BA...for a loooooong stretched out motorsickle, these suckers STILL surprisingly handle the curves very very well!...well, very very well ONCE you sh*tcan those LOUSY FRIGGIN' CHEAP-ASS stock shocks they put on 'em at the factory, anyway!!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

i ride a M50 suki Intruder as my every day bike, the trump is a second bike, yep i love corners, had about 6 Or 7 sets of front pegs on the M50, just seem to ground them out all the time, but the trump is a diffrent ride altogether, its total diffrent from the M, its a lot smaller then the M, i am not tall i stand about 5ft 8" with shortish legs, i do feel a bit cramped on the trump and feel that a few extra inches on the wheel base would do it for me, still i might feel diffrent once i get some apes fitted, il keep you informed..

Interesting. Ya see, I'm just about 6'2" and I've never felt cramped at all on my BA.

And re the grounding of your pegs while on your Suzuki Intruder....this again is one of the reasons I've always appreciated my BA...it seems to have a lot more ground clearance than the vast majority of other "Cruisers" out there, so throwin' my baby into the Twisties is still a whole lot o' fun!

i'm 5'8" 30"inseam and this bike fits me like Mr. Bloor measured me in my sleep and said "now we can build Newt a bike". there are ways to move the pegs forward a bit, rather than stretch the bike

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!
