It's been really dead around here lately. If it doesn't pick up soon I'm gonna start another thread like that lights-a-plenty I did not too long ago. Or maybe Mark could come back and start another thread about leaving... that seemed spark some interest. Hey... is everyone in the land of OZ asleep? It's still snowing here so come on, give us your best shot and help liven things up a bit 'round here!!

Well Keith, its been in the mid 70's around here for three weeks and I have been out riding every chance I get. Spring is in the air round here. Grass shoots are green and springing out from the dry dead grass from last year. Leaf bud are forming on the trees, and the sky is so blue it almost hurts the eyes.

Hmmmm...bored, are ya Keith?! Well then, I think I'll tell ya what my Mom and Dad used to tell me when I was a kid and I told 'em that...."Then why don't ya go outside and play....on the Freeway!" (...ya know, sometimes I wonder if Mom and Dad thought they might've made a mistake by adoptin' me!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Border patrol humor
Two Mexicans are on a bike along U.S. 52 about 15 miles outside of Lafayette , LA. One of the bike's tires goes flat and they start hitching a lift back into town.
A friendly trucker stops to see if he can help and the Mexicans ask him for a ride. He tells them he has no room in the Trailer as he is carrying 20,000 bowling balls. The Mexicans put it to the driver that if they can manage to fit into the back with their bike, will he take them back into town and he agrees. They manage to squeeze themselves and their bike into the back and the driver shuts the doors and gets on his way. By this time he is really late and so puts the hammer down.
Sure enough a blonde cop pulls him over for speeding. The lady officer asks the driver what he is carrying, to which the driver jokingly replies "20,000 Mexican eggs."
The Blond Lady Cop obviously doesn't believe this so wants to take a look in the trailer. She opens the back door and quickly shuts it and locks it. She gets on her radio and calls for immediate backup from as many officers as possible plus a Swat Team. The dispatcher asks what emergency she has that requires so many officers. "I've got a Tractor-Trailer stopped with 20,000 Mexican Eggs in it. Two have hatched and they've already managed to steal a bicycle."

Sorry Keith. Too busy packing for the run to Warwick this weekend. By the way did you end up fitting the lights and doing a run to Brighton on sea. Think that was the place but no doubt the uk brigade can verify this!

You should get a ski for the front, and some of those scoop tires they use in the sand for the rear of the penta-clops and head out.

Now Bill! Considering the recent events in New Zealand, don't you think that "earth move" joke there might be just a bit insensitive???

We got onto the "boxers or briefs" topic at work a few months ago. Came to a sudden end when one guy said 'depends'.

The kits back ordered, but I'll post pictures when I get it installed. The kit includes heel toe shifter and a wider brake pedal. supposed to be designed for the Triumph foot boards!!!! Got it thru my Dealer, he said it is a Triumph acc.

Good time to clean your carbs, brake fluid, oil change, change the plugs, polish the chrome, etc. Spring will be here before you know it. Maybe before any of us knows it--I'm still hibernating myself
