Just an update to the progress on the new plates. WOWI went to look at the samples they made and these are freaking badazz!!!! Thick so those that want to strap bags to the stems will be able to. Don't be surprised if your stems bend or break before this plate does. FInish was so nice I almost don't want to send them to powder. I may keep a few back for those that want to polish. There may be a slight modification to the tab. The material is so much thicker that it doesn't bend even all the way so I gave them permission to make a modification. Wont effect the overall look in a negative way. It the price we pay for strength. The tab will still follow the same line it will just stop about 3/4" from the pointy end now. The will be ready for pickup when I get back from SWTF and I will rush them to the powder guy from there. Of course Ill post a pic first  Thank you all for being patient with this.

Just got it today! Not bad time... especially considering that to the post office, it is still in San Jose, Ca !!! tracking is just a little off, looks like some computer glitch there. John, maybe you should offer your services, I think they need help! Small box, and indeed, pretty hefty for the size! I was careful, and didn't drop it on my toes... and I was wearing safety boots!  Seriously, it's tough! It's nice to see that if I get rear-ended, the license plate is the farthest they will go...! That's some heavy duty plate protection in the back! Will try to install this weekend. Thanks Z!

Got mine finally installed. Will get better pics later, as soon as I get another bracket to fit it in... because we have full sized license plates over here... I need extenders to fit it but the ones I had were too long. Still looks much better!
