Dwight....relax man....Cabin Fever is NOT CONTAGIOuS. You shouldn't be complaining like that..... People might talk. Only those north of the 49th are certified to complain Great pic by the way.... Did you take it? One of your buddies

Had a weird, nearly record breaking temp increase here in Iowa last week.(Normally, the third week of Feb. is the worst weather of the winter!) Mid 60s one day. Actually rode the BA for a few blocks, then it started to rain/mist.

Yeah, well Keith and Greg, not ONLY could one maybe say I'm "part Hoser", which might give me some unofficial "right" to complain about winter, BUT just yesterday we got ANOTHER 5 to 7 inches of snow here in Prescott, which might give me even MORE of a "right" to do so!!! (...ya know, this whole shovelin' driveways, decks and patios is quite the workout, isn't it?!)

*grumble* I went ice fishing with the scouts this weekend. 2 or 3 days of temps around 50 just before that, and the frigging snow melts forming a perfectly smooth surface on the ice. I get the truck stuck on the road to the cabins because the winters worth of snow that you can normally drive just fine on turned to some ungodly slushy cr*p. (thank god I got it free before I had to ask the scouts for help. I would have heard about that for years) The day we get there the temp drops like a stone and the wind is gusting to 40 or 45 mph all night. The frigging back door of the cabin keeps getting sucked open because it closes on a spring. Guess which end of the cabin I am closest to... Finely got fed up and put a bungee cord on that s.o.b. And of course we get 6" of snow that night just to remind us its February in upstate NY. And February means winter, dont you forget it!
Well the kids had a lot of fun, so it was all worthwhile. But it seems like it took me all afternoon Sunday to get truely comfortable. Let me tell you, I am SOOOO ready for Spring...

Holy snowflake... that's more snow than we have here in town, although up on the slopes it's skiing as usual.
Meanwhile back at the hacienda... yeah, shovelin' can either make a man outta ya, or completely do you in! It's a coin toss every winter... will he make it, will he not?

I don't know what "yall" are complaining about. Its been in the mid 70's for two weeks here.

Again, if it's snow vs. Texas (especially Houston), I'll take snow.

Texas has the strongest housing market and the strongest job market in the nation, and Houston the strongest of these in Texas. I love living here. (Plus it been in the mid 70's for 2 weeks)

Where is it refined? Most of the oil is refined here in Texas, and Louisiana.

The United States gets 20% of our oil from Canada. That 20% comes mostly from 3 major oil sand deposits in northern Alberta. In fact 66% of all the oil produced in Canada is exported to the US. However Canada gets 55% of the oil it consumes from The middle east.
90% of The oil products consumed in the US is refined here on the gulf coast. Although we get only 40% of our crude from domestic sites. The other 60% comes from other countries.
