So here is a very creative you man who decided to modify his exhaust and make it lighter, get ready for a good laugh. Remember the principles of Hot Rodding, "If they don't make or you cannot afford it, built it yourself" http://www.ninja250forum.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=3395.0

Well, I think we should cut "Skippii" a little slack here guys...'cause like it showed in his "tutorial", about halfway through his project his dog Grace bit one of his hands clean off!!! (...uh huh, I mean let me see any one of YOU GUYS around here try to make a nice lookin' exhaust system one-handed, HUH?!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

some folks should quit while they are just behind, and not buried.

Look we are all not excellent mechanics. Skippy did the best he could do with the given situation. I think he deserves his own TV show like American Chop up. Truly inspirational stuff.

why buy it for $20 when you can make it for $50?
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Nothing but respect to the kid. After all he made his own two into one header.
I like the line when he said "Luckily, I was able to easily fix it with trash and some hose clamps. Every few hundred miles the aluminum would melt off, and I'd just stop somewhere and dig through trash cans until I found a replacement. Only took 5 minutes".

I don't know if you'd actually call hanging a muffler from the helmet lock on the side of my bike "Secure."
I haven't ridden it yet. I'm scared. Having a small 3 pound muffler fall off on the highway is bad enough, but risking a 20-pound giant thing fall off could mean big trouble for the person behind me. I think I'm going to safety wire it or something first.

He sure isn't a Boilermaker or a Millwright, maybe an Ironworker, I met an Ironworker once with a homebuilt T-Bucket made from 1/4 plate and a Ford Pinto engine, said he used a whole 50 lb. can of E-7018 to fab the body and fenders, one bugly rat-rod.
