Ok... here is my official position... I don't care who wins (unless the NFL decides that the Steelers shouldn't be there and the Chargers will play instead). However, what I do want is a good game. Here is how I would like it to go down:
45 seconds left in the game, the score is tied 27-27. One team scores what appears to be the winning field goal. After the kick off (about 40 seconds left) the other team drives 80 yards in 38 seconds and scores the winning touchdown with the final score of 33-30.
That's what I want to see. What'll probably happen is a 45-17 boring blowout.

Even better Soren, how about an ending like this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPhONc6xC48

Or, this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SBU8nOiMz0&NR=1

OR, and I hate to bring up a painful memory here ol' buddy, THIS one...even though this play is only at the end of the 1st Half and the Chargers did go on to win this classic in Overtime, and so maybe not such a painful memory for ya after all:

Pittsburg has such a great team and so much talent. Ben Rothlissberger is a rapist. I hope Green Bay destroys them for that reason alone.

Always considered the Music City Miracle that none of the refs flagged the forward lateral, though I can see why those in Nashville may prefer that one to "One Yard Short"

Yeah Mark, I also always questioned if it was indeed a lateral. However, that's why I picked this particular YouTube video to link here of the two which they have available of this famous play, because evidently in this one it gives clear evidence that it was in fact a lateral after all.

I have mixed emotions. I have several good friends who are Steelers fans, but my ex-girlfriend is also a Steelers fan, so they cancel each other out.

When I was 8YO I was a benchwarmer (and occasional guard) for the Hawthorne Packers, the 1975 Junior All-American Football champions. This was Southern California so naturally our uniforms were Rams colored (but the helmet stripes were closer!).

But I really hated playing football, coach was a dick... so, I dunno...

I heard sports reports of people that knew him when he played collage ball, and they said he was an asshat then too! No he wasn't tried and convicted he was lucky that she dropped the charges.

I guess it might have helped if I'd actually watched it (I was on a slow connection that makes you tube very irritating), or at least looked closer at the title, rather than just going by memory.

Been wrong before, I'm sure it wrong be the last time either.

So, you were a bench warmer, sometimes guard and with that Jersey number you must have been like third string QB?

My ex was born in Wisconsin, so I"m going with the Steelers.

Most college athletes are asshats, as are most college students.

I don't think the "victim" dropped the charges. I believe the investigating authorities had no case with which to proceed. Therefore the charges were dropped.

You're giving me entirely too much credit for football knowledge. I was in football for two reasons. 1-My friends were doing it (yes, peer pressure if you can believe that) and 2-My dad wanted to assistant coach (but hardly ever showed up due to work schedules). Check out them knees and hornrims (and the different number on me)...

Yep she dropped the charges, I'm aware of that. She was also likely given some hush money which is what she was likely going for when she made up her story of being raped. Kinda puts the girl in the category of money for sex. There's a name for those women

Well, to answer your question here Graham...it's the sport where people are allowed to touch the ball with their hands and NOT just kick the thing around endlessly from one end of the field to another, willy-nilly!!!

(okay, maybe not "willy-nilly", but c'mon here...doesn't "that" sport pretty much consist of the following: Oh, nice pass...oh, intercepted pass...oh, nice pass...oh, intercepted pass...oh, nice pass...oh, another nice pass...oh, WOW, and a THIRD nice pass...OOPS, intercepted again...and here we go all OVER again!!!)

And so, if you're REALLY interested, then maybe George here might be able to explain this concept about good ol' American "Football"(AND that other great American Pastime, Baseball) better than I can :

Geoff,

Oh I get the drift of American football but what I was actually on about is that I'm actually going to be in Massachusetts to watch it.

I was signed off work again so rather than sit here with no furniture and bored sh**less I might as well sit at my new place with furniture and be not as bored and have Sandy run around after me.

So for one year it's not a case of watching it at some ridiculous hour and we may be going to a superbowl party too so thats a bonus.

I'm a Ravens fan, so you know who I'm rooting against....
My Pap, who turned 91 this year just might be the worlds oldest Packers fan. I think they played with live pigs when he started rooting for the Pack. I'd would be nice for the NFL to throw an old man a bone, you don't get many man Superbowl shots when you are his age.
I did confiscate his Farve gear after this year:

Here's him and my mom enjoying the 2008 Packers playoff game at our house (they lost...).

I know all you people out there that root for any team other than the Steelers are gonna say all kinds of crap against the Steelers and yes there may be some controversy over Ben but I still think a whole lot of the hub bub is that you are jealous that your team didn't make it to the Super Bowl. And FYI if you do a little research you will find that the Steelers have the biggest fan base of all Pro Football teams. Come on now that many people can't be wrong!

Hmmm? Interesting. Among Pennsylvania QB's, would you rather have:
A) Ben Rothlesberger take your daughter out.
B) Michael Vick walk your dog.
