Thats an awsome deal man. Music will save your life
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

My daughter-in-law is a professional music therapist who works in hospitals. I'm always awe at what she does!

I always felt that music is more important than just entertainment, but that it speaks to our souls in a way we don't realy understand.

When my buddy was going through his divorse I told him "learn to play an instrument it'll save your life." He started playing the drums and got good at it too I might add. He came to me later and said to me "You-er right man them drums saved my life, cause that mess was killing me."

It's called Music Thanatology. It's musicians that play in hospitals, hospices, and sometimes at funeral services for the person who is dying, and then sometimes for the families afterward. We have a couple of harp and guitar players that come in to play services, that have played for people when when they were in the hospital or in hospice care. It's really quite nice.

Yup, Brent pretty much summed it up there Soren. My daughter-in-law (Brooke) went through a four year program for this. She had to audition first to qualify for the program but she already had formal training in piano and vocals. Most of her work takes place in the Vancouver Childrens Hospital. I just think she's an angel, and so does my son!!
