Tail Fins and Chrome features: Cars of Dreams Was sent this link to the Cars of Dreams “ museum “ . It is only open a few times a year which I find real strange and a real waste. To have all these cars in one location I would think it would get lots of visitors. Has anyone been or heard of it . Have been wondering where he got all his money to fund such a place and not need to make money out of it. By the sound of it he has been collecting for all his life on and off . I'll bet moe or newt, or another of our Florida Contingent down there have been to that museum, Geoff. And, thanks for posting this very cool video!  (...hmmmm...I wonder if this guy was who spent $170,000 to get that beautiful black Hemi-powered '57 De Soto Adventurer Convertible that I fell in love with last week at the Barrett-Jackson Auction???)

Whilst I wholly agree about living in the States I must admit I disagree on the cars.
I think the Germans and Italians have been cornering that market for quite some time and the odd little contribution from Jaguar and Aston Martin.
But it was an awesome collection, amazing bodywork and the presentation of the place was unbelievable.
I wonder what the monthly outlay on polish is?
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Heh heh heh. Phew-wee! Any old farts remember the name of Garlits' dragster?
