My thoughts?!

Well, if you've gotten a good deal on it and the shipping charges are reasonable and would still make the whole deal cost far less than purchasing from a local dealership...say, $300 or more in savings...then by all means get it.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

You do realise the black ones are the fastest. Its brand new with warranty from a dealer, I'd go for it.

I started to buy a 2010 tiger se demo bike from them on ebay middle of last year. They were some of the most arrogant a$$es I have ever talked/email to.They were vague with itemizing certain charges and I simply didnt trust dealing with them. Why not find someone closer to deal with and avoid the shipping/long distance hassles? BTW I would be saying that even if my experiance with them wasnt tainted.

especially wiggling while they do.
I would ride b!ch if the driver was hot and she had big enough hand holds up front. Is that too far?

thanks for all the comments, ya'll. did the deed, bike shipping tomorrow. will let you know how it turns out. it's a 2010, saw pics of it, not dropped, no dings, etc. saved about $2K from retail, so shipping won't hurt too much. will post pics soon.

oh, btw. i wanted a blue and white one, but black was all they had. i justified it to my wife (and myself) by telling her they're the fastest. learned that here.

Awesome and welcome Billy. Blue and white is the best, but black is acceptable.
Now don't forget to take off the stock pipes and put on some real he-man, throaty Bubs !!!

Then fret over what oil to use, whether to oil or not oil your chain, airbox mods or Freak, tall or short sissy bars, etc...

Always factor in extra time when you are out on your beauty, as people will want to talk to you about it, ask you when did Triumph start making bikes again and tell you stories of their old Trumpets. And have fun with the H-D crowd, after all they sit there and shake...

+1 on welcome to the club and post some pics!!

"Taking the plunge" sounds like you're getting married or buying a Harley.

Met some Canucks near Great Falls a few years ago. They were on a blue and white America (2007, I believe). Sharp looking bike. They were from Alberta and on their way to Vegas.
