Don't worry Stephen... not much gets me down (well, not for too long anyway). But I still have the whistle which resides in my studio during winter... otherwise it travels with me on my bike. I have some recordings of me playing it on a beach to the sound of lapping waves. I LOVE IT and show it off often!

Good news... my home insurance is covering the losses and (believe it or not) a cheque is going out in the mail today!!! Yippie, I get to go shopping soon!! I'm still left with a bitter taste and an uneasy feeling 'bout my own security and all, but things are looking up. I am grateful!!

You should look into a trailer. They can equip them with an alarm and GPS's. It might be easier to load and unload and less wear and tear on your equipment.

Could probably find an old camper to use for free. Once they get old and not good for camping anymore most junk dealers don't want them due to all the wood and insulation to get rid of and the work involved in scrapping them. Just gut it and you have an equipment trailer, wouldn't be hard to put an alarm on one. I have a 15' a 18' and a 28' all were free. The 28' I use for camping , it is still in really good shape. The other 2 I use for storage. The 18' I used to use for camping but the mice got in the ceiling so I stopped using it for that.I also have a 22' cargo trailer I got for $1,000. It was a car hauler but we put cabinates in front and a bed now it is for Wendy's events so she can haul her product and displays in the back and sleep in the front. As well as cook and have refrigerated food and drinks and coffee. A TV and VCR too. We watched the free pages on Craigs List for everything, the trailers and all the cabinats and TV and everything else in there, all free.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!

A trailer... old camper? These are good ideas! I'll run them by the boys and see what we come up with.
