Has anyone figured out how to turn your front "turn only" lights to run/turn and the rear "turn only" to run/turn stop?
I have found the SignalMinder, but they give you run/turn/stop in the front and rear. I don't like the fact that the front lights will do the stop feature. Sounds as if they need to take that back to the drawing board.

Dang , I had to read that REAL SLOW about 4 times , but I think I GOT IT !!! OK , now that we have the running light option established for the REAR , as far as I know , in order to have a bona fide STOP signal incorporated into the REAR TURN lamps , one would need to have dual circuits - ie: a two-filament bulb , like an 1157 and piggyback it from the REAR STOPLAMP and into the housing on the TURN lamp . It could be done with some creative mounting of an 1157 type base.

Agreed Wade, anything CAN be done... and in the light (friggin' unintended puns) of this thread, running lights fore and aft are a very good idea. The more ideas the better on this subject!

I think I finally got this figured out (for me): For the front: (I will just hard wire this and glue it into my lens...this will act as a amber running light leaving the stock bulb to act as a amber turn signal) http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/s...Fspecs%2FAE.htm Item: AE60-x15 Amber Price: $5.95ea -- $11.90 pair For the rear: (I will glue this into my rear signal lens....the amber will plug into my stock 1165 outlet and I will hard wite the red running and brake lights) http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/Radiantz_Dogeye_Cluster_LED_Turn_Signals_Univers_p/3209-38.htmItem: 3209-38 Price: $69.95 pair Total Price: $81.65 + shipping

for your rear this kit is all set up and costs $50. http://www.electricalconnection.com/other-lighting/tsk-star&sport.htmi can get a pic for you. i have this on my klr650 and my speedy. it works good and adds the extra light i wanted. i like your idea for the front.
If it isn't broke, I haven't messed with it.

Yea my dad has that on his bike, and I like it, but I like the other one a little better. Just my personal preference (24 red and 24 amber LED's).

That's okay, we won't delete the link to their site like they've done to links to this site. We don't roll that way. Hell, they even edited my signature to remove a reference to this site. Jackasses. Sorry, pet peeve. Return to your normally scheduled discussion in 3... 2... 1...
