I've been eyeing these Diamond Gusset Defender riding jeans for a while and finally saved up enough per diem to score a pair. They're a little spendy but they'll cull a pair to match your waist when you order and they are made next door in Georgia so it seemed like a good plan. Kevlar in the right places was soft and comfortable, not scratchy at all. I just put 1200 miles on them and to me they're worth every penny. Not too hot yet they were very comfortable at temps around 55° and the diamond gusset performs as advertised...mile after mile with no bunching around the boys. Sized like a relaxed-fit jean, they washed well and didn't shrink. I think I'll be buying some regular jeans from these folks soon. I even measured my favorite pair of jeans and the pair I got fit exactly the same. Quick service, too.

Their stuff is top notch. I have purchased 2 pair of their defender Jeans and 4 or 5 pair of their regualar jeans. They all fit great and are very comortable. They are a bit pricey but now that you have bought a pair of their jeans they will start sending you specials on the internet of sales and specials. GOOD STUFF!

My old "skidder jeans" were fine on the bike but impossible to walk around in... my leather riding pants are more comfortable..... Question, how are they for "walking around " ??

I couldn't tell the difference between them and my regular jeans when walking around.

I like the fact that they're made in an English speaking country (not implying anything here... just saying).

I felt the same way when I first tried mine on: hey! they fit! The comfort was an unexpected extra bonus.

Thanks for the digits!
I just wanted to see if the pockets were as deep as the duluth br jeans...they are nearly identical depth.

I'm pretty sure it's the same manufacturer in GA that makes jeans for Diamond Gussett and Duluth Trading Co.

I am glad you guys are so happy about those jeans. Ahh the simple things can bring the most joy.

I know they are pricey but I have a couple pair of their flannel lined jeans as well. Nice in the winter and same great fit as their other jeans. Good Stuff!

I wore mine on the trip to California and back. They fit nicely, are comfortable in both cold and hot weather and the pockets hold lots of stuff. The only drawbacks are that they are a bit heavy and take a long time to dry after you wash them or get rained on.
I cannot attest to their performance in a crash as I have, to this point at least, successfully endeavored to avoid that comprehensive a test.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

But tell me Larry, are they as good looking as a nicely worn-in pair of Levis? 'Cause I mean, if they make me look dorky then I gotta pass (what with being an up and coming Rock star and all)!!

The regular jeans are just that, regular jeans, but you'll have to wear them in if you want that lived-in look. I gig in mine all the time...

Coming from you Ed, I think I'd be okay on stage in a pair of DGs. So what I'm gathering here is that the regulars and just that... regular but in a heavier weight than the average jean.

I like them a lot. Of course the motorcycle ones are quite a bit heavier than the standard ones. Neither style is what you'd call fashion jeans and that's a good thing.

They certainly don't bind up when you throw your leg over your bike. I don't know why I remember this now, but many many moons ago, like 2.5 decades, I used to study martial arts and subscribed to Black Belt magazine. I remember they had gusseted crotch jeans "endorsed by Chuck Norris" because it was the only jeans he could do a high kick in.
