Are BA forks the same?I have different part numbers for a 2004 America..and a 2004 speedmaster. What i need to find out is. They are the same numbers on both bikes, per "bikebandit".except the last two numbers.on each bike. I am taking this to mean..if i'm right, the color of the lower legs from one bike to the other, is the only difference??Would this be your idea...or what do you think.

You can use speedmaster forks, but would have unused caliper mountings on one side.

ok thanks for the help.will the "left fork" be the same as the America,? if taken off a speedmaster??I could just use the one.then powdercoat it to match the right. The right fork sticks alittle. It might work itself out of it.[smooth out]I just don't know!!!! what to expect??

Bob, You can check out Pinwall Cycles, they have lower legs going for ~$30.00. They might even have some with reflectors on them still!

They are all the same color SM and BA are the same look just that the SM has 2 calipers and the BA 1. No need to powder coat anything unless you want to change the color to some custom color. But SM and BA are interchange able as far as fitment to the upper tubes and axle.
