I agree with Bill
Charge it up and see if that cures it. If it does, then all you've got to worry about is why it went flat in the first place (I know why mine does) Daves got a point too

Ernie,
Also check to make sure the cables are tight on the battery. A loose cable can also cause that problem.

All the ideas above are good ones. You might want to check for corrosion at the battery terminals, solenoid, ground strap, fuse box and so on if you still can't get 'er to turn over.

That was my issue. A $7 relay from Trik-Trucks fixed that problem. I think the dealer wanted $15 for the same relay....(I have a thread somehwere her on the issue).

Old thread, same problem here...
Battery is fine and charged, and after a few times trying the starter button, it starts without a hitch... but now it takes about 10 to 15 tries before anything happens... I am afraid something is about to go... and I will be stranded somewhere.
So I need to look into that headlight relay, next to flasher relay... it's just that I am not sure where these are!?
Are they inside the headlight bucket or under the tank?
Thanks!

Bike Bandit calls it a changeover relay, that's under the tank. The starter solenoid is under the seat.
