I replaced all 4 turn signals on my '09 Speedy with Kury Silver Bullets. They look great but now all 4 signals flash at the same time although the opposite side flashes slightly less bright than the side selected. I've checked & double checked the wiring, all good there. Everything looks fine apart from the flashing problem. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you've got the negative running through the lights that should be off.

Recheck your connections, particularly the negatives (ground)

Are those silver bullets LEDs?

If LEDs, forget what I said.

There's a thread around here somewhere cocerning LEDs, but I'm too tiddly to look, if they're not LEDs, that what I said stands, the only time I'm too drunk to recognise what could be a series connection is when I've passed out

No...not LED. Standard incandescent. I'm not sure what you mean about "negative running thru the lights that should be off". Can you explain please? Thanks

Ok, I'll try, but please bare in mind that I find it hard to explain this without drawings when I'm sober, never mind after being on the vino for 4 hours

Righto, just using one lamp (bulb) for ease of example, the current should come from the battery through the switch to the bulb and then back to the battery via the negative/ground, giving you 12volts across the bulb.

From what you described, it sounds like instead of going directly to ground from the bulb you want on (say the left side), the current is having to go through the bulb on the right side (which is the one you want to remain off) to find its way back to the battery, which will mean that the second bulb is getting rather less than the 12 volts required to power it properly which is why its duller than the one you want to be on and visa versa when you want to indicate right

This is why I think you should check the negative connections for your indicators, they are most likely a common link to both sides, so maybe they are not making in the connector block for some reason, maybe the bike side of the connector has been pushed through?

Admittedly I haven't looked at the connectors on our bikes, but I'm assuming they'll be like the old jap bikes I had

Oh, just thought of a quick test to see if you've got your lights in parallel or series, take the bulb out of say the left front and back indicators, then try to indicate right, if nothing happens, you've got them in series i.e. bad negative connection
