I'd never heard of Pi Day, a new one,
do you guys get Hump Day there?
(Wednesday as its the middle of the week, and all down hill from there)
or Poets Day?
(Friday as in Piddle Off Early Tomorrows Saturday)
we use these 2 in Australia

Screw Pi, today is a much better day, exactly 1 month after Valentine's Day. It involves two parts. The first is steak. Looks like I'm not participating at all this year.

Pi is used in the calculation of the circumference of a circle and indeed has nothing to do with a square.
But then you got the formula area = pi x r squared (pi are square), which leads back to the square thing...
Never mind... morning coffee musing can at best be, bzr!
