I can't get to my bike to check right now but if you take a close look at the plug, those wires go to pins inside that the wires attach to. these pins should be held in with a little tab. if it's at all possible to get a very small tool in there to move the tab, the pin should slide out of the plug. then you should be able to run the pin ends through the new boot and clip them back into the plug end.
Just be sure to mark where the pins go before removing them. Also any good automotive store should sell a basic kit for removing the terminals. And be careful when removing them, you don't want to damage the clip/lock in the plastic plug. I hope this helps. NR
