http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyYm1Zr0bnY is a video I stumbled over. I suppose every bike is customised to the rider, but this one actually has me wondering why they got an America...????

A good question, why would you have a Triumph with triple tree caps that have Harley stamped into them

Because it is the second best bike on the planet.
Everyone has their own personal styles and tastes. Nothing wrong with that at all. Triumph's slogan for the past few years is "Go your own way". So, do what you like to your bike, what anyone else thinks doesnt really matter.

Actually, not a bad looking bike. Not crazy about the extended rear fender and the T-bars should be smaller, but the front end isn't bad.

Because that whole front end is off a Harley Dyna Wide Glide, Paul.
(and yeah, I too think the bike as a whole looks pretty nice...except for that extended rear fender)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

At lest it's ride able, as appose to OCC bikes. Do you know how hard it is to find Triumph caps that fit HD front ends?

I don't mind someone making their bike their own. Just that I like an old school look, and I love the look of Speedmaster and America.

I have no qualms about using a Harley front end, I'm running a wideglyde on my chopper, the rest of the bike looks great, each to their own, I just cant figure why use a Harley emblemed cover, when smooth covers are plentiful & also cheaper

I don't mind the rear guard, minus the tail light and checkered decals.
What it can't reach it spits at.
