What is going on  you got any Graham  MERSEYSIDE paramedics are to be banned from wearing novelty socks. Do you have to wear the same colours ? Sometimes in the dim morning light, I might grab a black and a blue one, but I usually just wear white tube socks !!

"i'm sorry but all our crews wearing plain socks are tied up right now on a major road collision but we have a responder with homer simpson socks about two streets away" "can you not just send me an ambulance crew with just a simple spongebob square pants motif on their socks as this pain in my chest is becoming awfully unbearable" "i'm afraid they'll be away right now dealing with a cardiac arrest but if you could wait for thiry minutes the crew wearing the full calf length socks with a small nike motif should have finished talking the suicidal sock salesman down from the high rise tower block." "oh just do it!" To be honest things must be peachy up there for ambulance service officials to be concerning themselves with socks rather than dealing with such trivial issues like violence against ambulance staff, crew shortages, vehicle maintenance issues and identifying new initiatives with meeting the challenges of a rise in 999 calls. As far as I'm concerned any paramedic who doesn't run around barefooted carrying a bottle of leeches to any job really should be hanging their head in shame.
