A local HD dealer in the S E MA. area will be opening a section of their dealership for Triumphs!!
www.precisionhd.com
http://www.precisiontriumph.com/default.asp
They haven't up dated their web site yet but they are suppose to have their grand opening on 1-16-10. I'll be there !!
They have an on site dyno and I might order that locking Bonnie gas cap that is being talked about on another post.
Now I have 2 steelers in 20 min. from home.

Sounds like a great marketing plan for this dealership - two long-standing marques so a potential buyer can try both. Just my opinion, but I think this head to head would work in Triumph's favor.

Strangely, both the local Triumph dealers i visit seem to be building up quite a stock of used Harleys.

No idea why ;-)

Well if this happens across the states.it will all stop . " Whats that bike , they still make them, where can you get one" Because from what I think everyone in the states who wants a bike goes to a harley dealer at least once. So all you guys will turn from the rare black sheep to just one of the grey sheep of the flook. Be a trumpy at every traffic light.

I had to laugh at the name "Precision Harley Davidson". They prolly got sued for using the word precision before HD, so they decided to correct the problem by bringing Triumph into the picture.

I wave to every motorcycle but that is just me. I would even wave to you not caring if you waited to see what I was riding. Its more of a statement of the waver, not the recipient.

This is not a new thing. Destination Florida, the late great Bruce Rossmeyer, did it years ago, worked fine.

Different buildings, though in the same giant vendor, restaurant, bar, hotel, condo compound.

Alas, the Triumph shop is no more.

Did anybody ever say why they closed it down? I am sure it wasn't anything to do with Harley losing business. I recall something about they needed the building for something else that didn't make much sense.

I have had some dealings with Precision in the past and they are a very good dealership with top notch customer service. That should carry over to Triumph too. That's good news!
