does anyone know the model numbers for the idiots lights on your gas panel at superbrightled.com. and any ideas on changing the color on the speedometer? thanks for your help! thanks!

I think if you look in the tech vault you can find part numbers. failing that look at a post by sandman and follow his sig line to his web site with electrical info.

I changed my speedometer & tacho to orange/amber lights. Not as bright as white but it suits me.

IDIOT LIGHTS
You want the WLED*6 - ( * is the letter that indicates the colour)
2 x green and 1 x red per bike.

SPEEDO & TACHO ILLUMINATION
2 x 74-*HP ( * is the letter that indicates the colour)
1 x WLED-*4 ( * is the letter that indicates the colour)
The speedo takes 2 - one large and one small. The tacho takes one small.

Upgrading the idiot lights is a must and is cheap.

Not to hi-jack a post or change the subject but, what type of flasher do I need if I change out the directional lights to the LED's? It's a little bit on the chilly side to go out in an unheated garage to tinker around and was wondering if any body has changed it out or knows what I need.

I forgot to add that polarity is relevant for some of the LEDs. I think it was the two small ones for the speedo & tacho illumination - but my memory ain't 100% anymore.

So if they don't seem to work just pull 'em out, rotate 180 degrees and try again.
