Does the top pic have America bars on, looks like speedie bars on the lower pics. You going to be using struts on it ?

I like this one. Very nice!
That z-bar (or what ever it's called) is so cool. Does it fit with stock cables? Wonder where I could get one?

To answer borgcymru's question about the middle bike on this page (red tank). Those are custom Harley drag bars w/4 1/2" rise--25" width....had to drill out top tree for these bars to fit, Harley bobber grips, so had to cut out control for the throttle grip to fit, plus readjust cables because the grip is thicker....add not using fender struts, cut of that part of frame and will be cutting of the upper shock mounts as well.

Ahh right, no didn't mean 'fender' struts, mudguard supports over here Meant a solid bar type thing instead of rear shocker, a sort of hard tail effect. I ask because I noticed the rear guard/fender is fixed to both the frame under the seat and the swinging arm

Ahh..gotcha, yes right now it is bolted under the seat cross bar and to the swing arm...that was a quick add just for support so I could run it..I will change it when I put the mono shock in...actually, the bracket I welded for the swing arm has a mount bar welded infront that goes across the fender...I will add another support so I can make it strong enough for a passenger

Yeah, going to use air ride for adjustment..got rid of the fender struts because I like the clean open look...so everything has to be hand made...but we do it because we love it...I have a thread under custom--" time for change- project" that shows a lot more..lost pics on first couple pages, but put them back on plus updates

With thanks to all the folks on here for being able to copy some of their ideas, finally got my battery relocation done. Pics are poor, sorry, sun in the UK in April wasn't expecting that one. Hope someone likes it. I do. Cheers Chris

Wouldn't it be cool if you could get that part of the frame that sweeps back underneath the seat to meet with the part that comes up from below at a point? Ya know what I mean? Right in front of the spring on the seat... right there. Have that juncture come to a point. Watcha think?

Hello! Today I bobbed my rear fender but it looks bad in my opinion. There is to much space between the wheel and the fender. Now I want to buy a pair of Hagon shocks but I don´t know in which length. Has anybody a tip for me? Are 11,5" shocks low enough?

If 11.5s are an inch under stock (which I think they are), I wouldn't go any lower than that. I have a set of Progressives that are an inch under and a new back tire rubs the fender just slightly over hard bumps. It's not enough to go back to stock but I'd hate to see what 10.5s would do. It also might be the Progressives and the amount of travel they have. I haven't heard of anyone else rubbing the fender, so it might be my shocks.
you should be able to do a little searching on here and find some more info on what people are running and how they look.
Don't forget the bike will handle differently.
Good luck and nice start.

The BellaCorse E-Bobber used 11.5 hagons. I think it looks awesome.

If you can choke the cost...go with air ride..the standard Harley is 11.5 and will allow You to go another 1 - 2 inches lower...most are just 1"(so 11.5" - 10.5")

If you use the Harley shocks they have to be shimed. I got a 0.032" plate from Ace and made shims that go between the mounting stud on the bike and the shock.

You dont necessarily need air ride, my stock shocks with cut springs are 10-3/8" with no rubbing.

I have progressives, 10.5" as well as 2" lowering kit in front - no problems.

Sorry its been a while to reply mate, heres what I did. As you can see from Brokenfixed and all the others on the other threads everyone has probably done thirs differently. IMHO I think the main problem is where to put the starter solenoid which is the chunkiest part. If you can put that somewhere else it gives you a lot more room under your seat. Goodluck Chris

Thanks...what you have is something like I was thinking...mount the starter sol. elsewhere and mount the fuse box on the end of the frame tube.
I spent Sunday working on the front brakes...making a one line in to two lines for dual disks.

Matchboxracer, When I bobbed mine I felt the same... A set of 11" shocks (26kg springs) were the way... Travel reduced to 40mm and a progressive stop/bump rubber put in. Never dragged the fender, haven't made any mods to chainguard etc..(rider and lots of luggage only)..

Battery relocation with KNs, signal relocation, corbin seat, mirrors, fork gaters. I am done for the summer, so I can ride other than gutting the TORS. Next winter I plan to lower it, wide wheel kit with a 200 tire on the back and a bigger front tire, bob the rear fender, different bars and grips, and some more chrome. I am lovin it so far!

That is looking really good. I don't blame you for waiting for winter, I'm doing the same thing right now. Rather ride than wishing it were done 'cause that's when the weather will get nice.
