On the Triumph home site I see an accessory called "Anodized Radiator Cowls" but there is no pic. I did a search here but found nothing. Anyone have these on their bike ? Any pics ? Just curious.

I would think that the lack of radiator would be prohibitive to adding this item.

Hey Stephen
I think the only bikes with rads which are visible enough to warrant (the cost of??!!) fitting an anodised rad cowl would be the Speed Triple and the Rocket.
You may have looked at the listing for their accessories.

Please - give me some credit I assumed it was referring to the oil cooler because I aware we do not actual have a radiator but it is clearly listed as an accessory. That’s why I was intrigued. It is listed as Part No: A9758004-## and available for the America, Speed Triple and Speedmaster - multiple years. Price $125.00.

Now I am a big fan of sarcasm myself but if you read my reply above - it would appear I am not as stupid as you might at first think !

I can understand the confusion, there is often something lost in translation although its a common language, but this time I think it's a typo in the catalog.

At first I thought of the oil cooler too but I'd never heard of that accessory myself.

I thought about making a cover for the oil cooler, then I just had mine chromed. Pic isn't the greatest.....

The wife says I'm "chromatose"... or was it "any more chrome and you're toast!"

That does look nice Grump - the OEM black isn’t pretty and it certainly isn’t chrome.

Don,
You're weighing it down with plating. You'll need some performance mods next just to pull the extra load - Watch out you don't exceed the GVW

Horn looks good. Is it loud?

Barry, I just add helium to the tires to compensate.

The horn is not loud, just a low tone. It's made by Wolo, it's plastic, and I got tired of changing horns so I left it on there......
I bought a matching high tone thinking I would mount them both, but as mentioned, I got tired of screwing with horns.
I've got 6 of them, and they all leave a lot to be desired.
