I joined this group before I had a Bonneville America. I was riding my Sprint and saw a sign for the BA NorEast rally. Of course, they welcomed me, invited me to sign the banner and ride along. I attended, camped and rode with them the next 2 years before the rally went the way of too many. I also joined this group online.

A couple years after the rally no longer existed, My wife bought a BA and I bought a new Tiger, planning retirement rides. Unfortunately, cancer took my riding partner and I inherited her Bonneville America. After too many years with too few miles I sold both of our retirement rides last week. For the first time in 30 years, I don't own a Triumph.

I will get another new motorcycle before long. It will likely be a Triumph, just not a Bonneville America.

Ride on. I'll be watching.

Keith

sorry for your loss Keith

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Sorry for your lost, it sucks when you lose your riding partner, mine was to ovarian cancer. She didn't ride for over five years while she was battling, I sold her bike two years after she pasted.

Condolences. I am too broken to ride now. Married 48 years. My greatest fear is I may outlive her. So many of us are aging out. But time doesn't seem to slow down.
