Just wanted to let the members here know that i don't know when i may make any more foot peg kits. My wife of 17years and 4 months passed away Jan 21 2020. I don't know whether i'm coming or going and am devastated. I'll get round to it when i can but don't need any more things on my plate at the moment. Out of respect for my wife wishes please DO NOT post anything on social media like facebook. Des Young.

My sincere condolences brother. I've been in your shoes and there's nothing tougher than losing a beloved spouse. Although the Lord has provided me with a second good wife this year, I still think of and miss my beloved Kathy. I hope you have a network of family to help me through like I did. God bless and help you in this time.

She would have been 65 on Feb 12th. Gone too soon. It'l be a week at 4am, just can't believe it. A memorial service for her is this Saturday at 1 pm. Not looking forward to that, i feel it will just tear me open again.

As others have said, my sincere condolences. I can only imagine the loss.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Well all the flowers from the Saturday. service were delivered Sunday and are beautiful. The outpouring of respect and wonderful comments from people that knew her have been incredible, How the heck I came to find her and marry her is beyond me. We weren’t overly religious but believers in Christ, The Lord works in ways we cannot comprehend at our level. I have not posted anything on Facebook as per my wife’s wishes and have only posted on this site and the Yamaha SecaTurbo site as that is my “other” bike. Had a tough day today and had to do the shopping, She made it look so easy as we walked through the store picking stuff off the shelves, I haven’t a bloody clue as to what to buy. We “Men” think we are so clever and I for one took for granted just how much she did. To the fellows that are like I am “ bloody clueless and oblivious “ to just what your wife does I ask you to give them a hug and let them know just how precious they are. Don’t mean to keep rambling on but let your “other half” know just how much you appreciate them. Desmond Young.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and for tolerating my 64 yr. old ramblings. I am going to get back to making foot peg kits very shortly and anything else that people need making or repairing. Desmond.
