I am trying to pull my plugs to check them. I have put TORs on and have not got around to remapping yet. I was able to pull the right side and it looks ok. The problem is the left side...I am not able to get the 18mms socket on the plug. What am I missing?

Is your air inj. still in place? That piece of genius engineering does get in the way. You need a thin wall deep socket, I see them on ebay all the time, obviously there is a market niche for them. You can use a straight thin wall non sparkplug socket and cram a thick piece of paper inside it so it will grab and lift the plug out. Or this rip_off_price

^ Well, as they go, that is actually a decent price for the Motion Pro...

Is it? I'll take your word for it. It's just when I see a complete wrench and socket set at costco for $89, a single socket for $19 seems a little high, specially when the two factories in China that produce each are probably a mile apart.

AI is long gone. I will try to find a thin wall socket. Thanks.

Well, my Motion Pro was made in Taiwan, which is worlds apart in quality as compared with the stuff churned out of MLC...pricey, yes...worth it? It is to me.

I believe the 12 point sockets run slimmer than the 6 points, for tight spaces like our spark plugs are are situated in.

The Sears here in town didn't even have an 18mm. Let alone a thin wall deep socket. I picked up a set of brake pads from my local Kawaski dealer and he had a motion pro socket on hand. Bit the bullet and paid $19 bucks. Worked like a charm.

If you have a bike junk yard nearby or check with pinwall for a Honda tool kit. Just about every Honda I knew had one.

Found a cheaper alternative to the Motion Pro. I got and angled spanner, with an open end. Fits perfectly in the tight space between the O2 plug (removed in my case) and the engine.
