Off tomorrow on a 800 km road trip down to Vancouver to help my son lay a hardwood floor. Weather looks iffy but I`m pulling out in the morning anyway. Looking forward to long stretches of me, my bike and the road. I`ll ride over 4 mountain passes getting there... life is good.

It's a beautiful day ride alright, Moe. Up and over 4 mountain passes before landing on the wet coast (I mean WEST coast) of this big ol' continent of ours. Another cup o' joe and I'm off.

That looks like a great ride, not sure I would be laying floor the next day after 8-9 hrs in the saddle good on you if you can. That alternative route through northern Warshington looks like to good ride as well.

Made it safe and sound. Helped yank out the old carpet right after arriving. Tomorrow will be fine even if I am a bit sore.

We have a few decent stretches, East of the Cascade Mountains and away from the Wet Coast. [image] [/image]

Mission accomplished... New hardwood floor laid at my son's. Had a good visit with my 93 yo am. Now getting ready to ride the mountain passes back to my home some 800 kms from here. Looking forward to the ride.

Back home but sorry guys, no pics. I just rode and rode and rode. It was hot most of the way but not so much as to spoil the fun. My bike ran perfectly and I kept her tracking smoothly and swiftly through all the twisties. Nice to be back... nice to put my feet up and rest a spell.
