I've tried the white and colored led bulbs for my America but they just don't seem bright enough. Anyone know of any brighter bulb replacements that could brighten things up?

Well if you be talkin about the dim console lights, then I has a solution. I just installs me a LED red lamp on my console and woowee that sucker sho be bright. It show up real good even in the sun. Cost 5 dollahs an all I did was drill out the hole some bigger and pop it in. No need for a oil gauge, red idjit lite is better.

Osnium.com is where I get my stuff. They has green for the turns but Blue for the high beam would blind you at nite.

I have LED"s in my turn, dash and speedometer. I did something similar to you, I put a blue LED in the bottom light socket and a clear in the top ( it goes from blue gradually to clear on the top ) I purchased my bulbs from here ... lighthttp://www.superbrightleds.com/ They have different intensity bulbs for your viewing pleasure. Also you can try Fasteddie I don't know if he had any when I picked mine up many years ago.
