Man, what a hectic last two days! Finally got the America quarantined in the Orange County Convention Center For the Moto-Cafe Racer and Vintage Motorcycle Show. This show is part of the AIMExpo. (American International Motorcycle Expo) and is sponsored by Ace Cafe London (Graham, Mark McKee, and Charlie Kenworthy) and Dime City Cycles (Jason). Our club, Cafe-Moto M/C of Orlando, was in charge of the bike show, which is composed of 25+ of our cafe style bikes, both vintage, and modern with old school cafe influence, that are ridden regularly, and HARD! (Hell, I even rode mine TO THE SHOW!) The show runs Wednesday through Sunday, 10/16-10/20/2013, with Wednesday & Thursday reserved for event vendors and exibiters only, then open to the public for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in Halls WB1, WA4, and WA3. OVER 30,000 visitors are expected! Visit: AIMExpoUSA.com What is tuff is that our bikes are in lock down, with no fuel, and batteries disconnected, from today till Sunday evening or Monday morning. The issue with this is that THIS is BIKETOBERFEST week/weekend, with four day parties ALL OVER the Central Florida area, including Daytona. Our club will still be getting together for our Thursday night meet, a ride Saturday, and Daytona Saturday and Sunday. Thank heaven for back-up bikes! http://www.meetup.com/Cafe-moto/messages/boards/thread/38559052As customary, my wife Donna will be our photographer at the event, and our other week/weekend escapades. Plenty of photos will be forthcoming.

Thanks, we're headin' up there in about one hour. We've been riding the GS mostly as of late. Just put $2,500.00 in the $1,000 bike, so I've GOT to get two grand of use out of it, incase we decide to sell it! (We NEVER will!)

Here's photos of OUR clubs members bikes from tonights Exhibitors/media/vendors pre-event party. Remember, these are NOT Ten-Point Show bikes or Trailer Queens. THESE bikes are ridden weekly, if not daily. Their ridden hard and often. Most, including mine, weren't even trailered to the show. We rode straight up to the loading dock, disconnected our battery cables, and pushed them inside. http://imgur.com/a/7K3GrThe event has Exhibitor/media/vendor only days tomorrow and Friday, then opens to the public Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. More to come.

WHO LOVES THE JAPANESE!?? The first link is Friday night. The second is Sunday, with awards presented by Mark Wilsmore of Ace Cafe London and Brendon Dumas of Cafe-Moto Orlando. http://imgur.com/a/AOES5 http://imgur.com/a/9nvU5I got beat out by the turbo Sportster, which is only fair, as I fabricate trinkets for a look, he fabricates bolt-on's for performance AND look. Ace Cafe London is opening their first american cafe in Orlando next year! Our club is going to be the founding members for this site! Can't wait!!!

Erle!!!!! That was your Triumph America with the Gold Tank at the Ace Cafe / Cafe-Moto booth at AIMExpo. I was checking in every day to find the owner of that bike!!! Damnit! I was there on behalf of Motorcyclist Magazine as their on the ground Social Media Correspondent. Your bike was obviously my favorite. I was so happy to see a Triumph America in the mix. Check it! http://www.photonocturne.com/blog/2013/10/the-bikes-of-ace-cafe-/-cafe-moto-at-the-2013-aimexpo
Ride hard, ride fast, see the road in front of you and never worry about what is behind, unless you are checking on your buddy.

AW SHUCKS! Posts like this do more for me then those little blue pills! Yes, that was mine, though today it's green/silver, with a flared rear fender, but I digress. Too bad we didn't meet, but you may have seen me. I was "That Guy" with the blue, steel point shoes with spurs, jinglin' through the house. Attracted quit a bit of attention. I am somewhat of an Attention Wh0re. I mentioned earlier that the Ace Cafe London is set to open their first ever Ace Cafe in North America, RIGHT HERE IN ORLANDO! In 2014. They will cater to ALL "Petroheads", not just us Ton-up Boys, but you can bet we'll be there for their soft opening, their Grand Opening, and at a minimum, their Cafe/Vintage nights. The location downtown will be about ten minutes from my house. My membership is current with Cafe-Moto and the Fifty-Nine Club, I've ordered MORE studs for my Rockers jacket, my seaboot socks are clean, and I'M READY TO ROCK!
