I just bought new rear pads for my America. I took off the rear caliper, decompressed the pistons, installed new pads, and then tried to re-install the caliper back over the rotor. It seems to be catching on the two little "bumps" on the caliper mounting bracket?? I've tried for an hour with no luck. Any tips or thoughts to help me get this back together?

On the caliber side, there are "floating" hollow dowels that allow the caliber to move/slide while braking and keeps the pads centered on the rotor. See if it's catching on those, if it is, push the dowels in with your fingers so you can get it on the mount.

And if those dowels don't slide in and out very smoothly they need cleaned. Check the rubber boots for wear and replace if and cracks or dry rot is present.
