Well I just followed a rabbit trail and guess what I found... Paul McCartney possibly died in 1966 and was replaced by a look-a-like (don't worry... winter's almost over). Now, did this really happen? Has anyone else heard of this (new for me)? I can imagine it being possible. And I can imagine WHY it might be the case. Is the 'beloved' Sir Paul actually a fake? For f**k sake, we really are living in the Matrix! (Once again... don't worry here folks, winter's almost over!)

I remember listening to a radio show ages ago about this.I must have been 14-15 years old. They took selected lines from the Beatles songs to be "clues" to his death.I remember the song "fool on the hill" being one such "clue" Blah, blah, blah.

In 2010 the movie "Paul McCartney Really is Dead: The Last Testament of George Harrison" was released. For any Beatles fan, this is a MUST watch and contains tons of those 'clues' and archival footage. It also explains the 1969 hysteria that broke out worldwide after listeners discovered the clues contained in lyrics and album artwork. Allegedly, the movie ensued after a package from London containing two audio tapes and having no return address was delivered to the Hollywood offices of Highway 61 Entertainment. The tapes supposedly contained the voice of George Harrison setting the record straight.

Anyway, it's very entertaining and a great conversation starter at any party. Check it out if you dare to know the truth.

i always heard that it was a cover up to hide the fact that John had died, they replaced him with a look alike and the lie was the reason they broke up. supposedly it is when Abbey Road was released with Paul walking barefoot (hence Paul is dead) and John (the new one) got involved with Yoko and all things about him changed. if you look at them (the 2 Johns) you can see subtle differences (look at the nose) and the walk gate. there is a book titled Lennon remembers that i have always heard explains it all, i dont know i've never read it. but i guess this all happened when they introduced Billy Shear?? i think its all hoekum but that is what i was told and the guy who told me said he heard it from a guy that knew a guy that knew Mr G. Martin???

Not sure about Paul, but after watching "Bubba Ho-Tep" I now know that Elvis and JFK both lived much longer than most believe, and they joined forces to fight evil Mummies.....

The Walrus from Lewis Carrol's the Carpenter and the Walrus.

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

I don't know why walrus means dead. I guess is the greater point.

But the filmakers have the dates wrong and some of those records came out before the date they say he died. If they have the details that are easily found wrong, how can we believe the unsubstantiable?

Does anyone else think the narrator doesn't really sound like George?

Cool movie though!

The narrator sounds nothing like George, I have seen and heard too many specials and recordings of George to buy into this.
