Funny you mention that, I got hooked on The Avengers when I was a kid. The show came on late night tv. The first time I saw that it was going to be on tv, I thought it was going the be the super hero Avengers.

I never read the Avengers as a kid, but I did follow the Hulk and Spiderman. Never really liked Thor. But I'm pretty stoked for this movie.

I'm[just] old enough to remember black and white T.V. with John Steed and Honour Blackman playing Steed's female partner in the original Avengers. Her part was "Cathy Gale?" if I remember right. Diana Rigg as Emma Peel was hot too.

Well, theoretically it could've been the Jetson's dog Astro TOO, ya know.
(...in fact, if memory serves, I think I've heard that Astro's agent tried to get him to sue Scooby Doo for stealing his act, but Astro, being the good-natured soul that he was, may he rest in peace, would have none of it!)

Naw, have you ever heard Summer in the City (The Lovin' Spoonful) performed as a duet by Astro and Scooby Doo? Totally different.

Probably. Heard it on the radio a couple decades ago. I think it was a comedy bit about an album by Astro and Scooby (like those old K-Tel commercials, Freedom Rock, et al) and that's the song that stuck out in my head the most.

Sometimes a word just gets stuck! Maybe you can add the dictionary and spell check function so I can right click and get a synonym for it! AND an auto correct so I don't have to worry about spelling "THE" correctly.
