the part is not made anymore they replaced with the new air dam so the triumph ling to their instruction site no longer has the instructions for this one. Unless there is something i am missing on the home page?

I have the old style dam on the bike. Couldn't find the instructions, but you are welcome to come over and take a look or meet up sometime on the weekend.

Yes, I have it, and I do have a scanner but I'll have to see if I can remember how to use it! I can send it to someone that can put it in the TV too if any body else wants it.

I have one on my bike, but there were some that were made without the holes drilled in them. I thought I was nuts trying to figure it out. I had to drill the holes and then, no problem. Triumph offered to refund me for it, and said they were discontinuing them (2007).
You might be what you have going on. It's not hard to fix.

Sure, John... except for ONE, right? I think I might know a certain Texan that could agree with you. Remember when my Blackberry broke down and some friggin' gibbly goop came out of it in one or two of my posts? Yeah , well THAT lead to a huge misunderstanding which was in essence, about the politeness or lack there of a Canadian fellow!!

Actually the holes are drilled out, got the brakets etc, its off a 2005 mine is 2007, don't think there were any changes to them, just finished resanding, priming and i got the paint codes from standex crossed over to dupont for the Phantom black, matches to a T and i had placed in spray cans at napa, i have to do a few little things to it, seems to have an extra slot at the top in the middle as if for a single out pipe, not sure why but i think i still can get it to look sharp, we will see.

That slot is for the stock oil cooler line.

I have the Triumph installation manual for the Air Dam.

Here's pic of "TomSpdMstr"'s bike, you can see the oil line running down between the down tubes. I'll take a pic of my air dam tomorrow, maybe a change in the oil line location between the older and the newer models.

i think your right, this one was off a 2005 and mine is the 2007, did not think there was a difference but maybe there is, i can cover it up with fiberglass then some bondo and paint here is what it looks like. Just finished cleaning itup and one coat of primer, then i decided to cover up the whole to mount the rear brake hose, comes no where near it.
