Hi Guys Thanks for all your replies regarding new grips it is very much appreciated. I now have a new question regarding the above exhausts. Do i need to use an exhaust sealant or not because i know there is conflicting opinions on here and i just want to do it in the best way possible. ANY help would be good . CHEERS Bryan

Probably get away without it but use it anyway. A leak will cause popping.

Use a high temp. RTV silicone sealant.

Agreed on the high temp sealant. Helps prevent exhaust popping.

We do not appear to have RTV silicone sealant in the UK , only exhaust paste which i do not really want to use.I have found something called Kart Wurth silicone special 250 exhaust sealant and wondered if this would be OK ? ANY help would be appreciated because all you guys are wiser than me !I know nothing or as good as.  Cheers

We usually use paste or preformed gaskets.Could ANYONE give me a brand name so that i can find it in the UK or USA as we are visiting next month.all your help would be appreciated as i really want to get these mufflers on.

Permatex Ultra Black is what I use. The black doesn't stand out as much as the orange or red but it is still a very high temp product.
