A friend sent me this video http://www.youtube.com/user/vystrcil?v=pJxOsYh12yY.

it reminded me of myself picking my way down a twisty street in san francisco on my america. I did not do quite as well.

Makes you wonder how good he'd be if he was on something that was meant to go round corners

Quick! Somebody give me their bike, I want to go try those moves!

I've often wondered how their state of mind affects their prowess? Truly, I've noticed this with myself. It's the, "eh, it's not my motorcycle, if I drop it, I drop it", mentality. I know if I'm riding somebody else's bike I'm more inclined to do dastardly things. Same with a sailboat: I wouldn't dream of burying the rail on my boat, on somebody else's, bring it on. Same with flying a plane: If it's under my insurance, easy there, somebody else's, bring on the aerobatics!

Funny how the mind works (or at least mine).

Let me guess, nobody's going to let me borrow their bike now...

Harley, Honda, most riders couldn't do that with training wheels.

If I had forty hours a week to spend on my bike (and I didn't have to adhere to any traffic laws and everyone had to stay out of my way or go to jail) I'd be disappointed if I couldn't do all kinds of nifty stuff, too.
