I like simplistic mirrors nothing too skulled up, or on the cover of Mr. Safety Magazine, and on the decent side of the spectrum. (not too cheap, not too arlen ne$$)

I dont really care what mirrors YOU just bought, I need to know what you think would look good on this bike....

Yes I'm probably getting TWO of them this time for a change.

Kay Thanks

You need something sleek, black and on the smaller side. Try J&P Cycles site, they have quite a collection.

Some black bar ends would look nice.

Tom, on your bike, only NO mirrors will look good. Do away with them!

Bar end mirrors, such as these from Joker (worth going there for a look at more mirror sets).

I like Piper's mirrors, maybe you can paint them black if you don't like the shiny stuff...

Its just the opposite in my opinion. Ive wanted to like bar ends for a long time, they are inconspicuous, but I just dont like how far they stick out off the bars. Theyre kinda delicate hanging out there in the breeze. Ive cut my bars down 1.5" on each side and wouldnt mind them being a little smaller (damn brake resevior).

I also think in a hairy situation where I'm slipping to grab the bars or something, I'd have to reach around them and I dont like that either.

then theres lane splitting.....gotta be crew cut, short and functional.

Ya know Ive been riding with one since I had the bike, and I make out alright. But theres 2 occasions...
1) on my normal commute to work
2) riding in 2 lane traffic getting to the right lane

..where I really wish I had a right mirror. Riding into Philly during rush hour you have to go from the far left lane across 4 lanes to the far right. And Ive been turning and looking and it really sucks in traffic to be doing that. Everyones far up each others asses in front of me and I'm asking for it.

I did see that pic in pipers thread and liked the look. I'll have to PM him about which mirros they are and see if I can find something similar. I wonder about them hitting the tank, but I have tall risers so I should be good right?

I was also weary about learning a new way to look (down instead of over)..but I just searched through 80 pages of mirrors and found one pair that might possible want, but $113 for one is pretty shtty in my opinion.

I was looking in e-bay and they have two types, well actually four (flat and convex in each style) fender mounted and door mounted. I was wondering which style Piper used also, maybe he'll chime in...

PS edit: They are going for ~$35.00

Not sure if they are to be door or fender mounted. Didn't give that much thought, but my guess would be fender... However the "foot" of the stem sticks out a little, so on a rainy day I will do something about it. Not 100% pretty today (if you look close) but works like a charm.

Edit (who is she by the way?)

Here on ebay I found a pair that look like mine.

Lickscycles has a black round mirror on the smaller side. Look up my bike in members rides. Thats what I roll with. Love it.
