Riding round past the Falls “o” Feugh, taking it easy (as there is still a lot of sand on the road from winter) Comes round a sharp right hander, and there’s this Buzzard just killed a rabbit on the side of the road. Well he hears the bike coming and decides to take off but he doesn’t want to leave his kill behind. So next thing is I’m riding along at about 10mph with this Buzzard flying along beside me holding onto said bunny (close enough to touch, I can see every detail of him and his kill) until he manages to start getting some height and then he’s off.
Incredible sight though.

You know he was trying to get you to crash so he could call up his mates for a party.

Before my wife took up riding she was my passenger as we were riding down the Blue Ridge Parkway. As we approached the Haw Creek overlook a young bear ran in front of us, running from our right to our left. Well, the left side of the roadway is a cliff face, so the bear turns and is running down the Parkway. Since we had to brake to keep from hitting him, we were going about the same speed, side by side, heading down the Parkway about eight feet apart for about 75 - 100 feet.
